Rotarians from the Rotary clubs of Charlottetown and Charlottetown Royalty gathered with Premier Dennis King as he declared October 24,2022 World Polio Day. Rotary has contributed more than US $2.4 billion and countless volunteers to protecting the children of the world in it’s effort to rid the world of polio. Rotary is working to raise an additional $50 million per year, which will be leveraged for a maximum of $100 million annually from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
