The Donations Assessment Committee met recently to consider Applications to non profit groups. Those results will be presented to the Board for discussion. Stay tuned for more on these community charity donations from your Bingo Club funds.

Your Board also approved a $5000 donation to Shelter Box Canada to provide 4 boxes to assist in earthquake relief in Myanmar and Thailand. These funds came from the budgeted $20k Board Discretionary Fund. To date $9500 of that amount has been spent including this donation.

Thank you to PP Duncan for taking your President and Hal and our Exchange Student Lisa on a tour of the North Shore. Duncan is an historian of all things Island and we all enjoyed the tour and lunch at Finn Folk Restaurant very much.

Looking forward to our Awards and Strive Scholarship Meetings as scheduled here. They will be held at the Rodd Charlottetown for these occasions only.
