We’re pleased to welcome Dr. Umesh Gupta, accomplished scientist and long-time Rotarian, who will share his insights on “Vitamins for Human Health.” A valuable and inspiring talk on how vitamins support our well-being.
Spotlight on Our Guest Speaker: Dr. Umesh Gupta
Dr. Umesh Gupta left his native India in 1958 to pursue post-graduate studies in the United States. After completing his Ph. D. degree from Purdue University, Lafayette, Indiana, and a 2-year tenure as a National Research Council Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Ottawa, he was appointed Research Scientist at Agriculture Canada’s Research and Development Centre in Charlottetown. Currently Umesh is Emeritus Research Scientist at Agriculture Canada’s Charlottetown Research & Development Centre.
He has been a member of the Charlottetown Rotary club for the past 36 years, where he served as the bulletin editor (1996-2002), as a board member (2011-2014) and Chair of photography from 2002 to March 2018. He is a 2019 Paul Harris Fellow. Today Umesh will speak to us on “Vitamins for Human Health”.
